Our team of highly qualified instructors have built a fun and informative program to help build your child's confidence not only in the realm of stage work and musical theater but also in their everyday life. This program began as a positive and inclusive space for all dancers to come share their love of acting and dancing and has now grown into one of our most popular classes at HSDA.

Novelty dance also known as Musical theater is a form of theatrical performance that combines songs, spoken dialogue, acting and dance. The story and emotional content of a musical - humor, love, anger - are communicated through words, music, movement and technical aspects of the entertainment as an integrated whole.
Novelty gives the opportunity for your child to build confidence and stage presence while learning to act and dance at the same time. This is the perfect class for your triple threat child to have fun, be active and and learn new acting techniques
